Business Growth Assessment

Figure out what's actually limiting your growth before you spend more time and money fixing the wrong shit.

I personally get inside your business and examine how growth actually works, from how leads come in through sales, delivery and measurement. I identify what appears to be holding growth back and give you a prioritized plan for what to fix first.

Founder-led. Evidence-based. Practical. No generic template.

Why this exists

Most owners don't have an effort problem. They have a clarity problem.

They're fixing symptoms, chasing tactics, adding software, spending more on marketing or working harder without knowing where the business is actually breaking down.

You usually know something is wrong. Revenue is flat, or lumpy, or growing while profit and sanity shrink. What's harder to see is exactly where the problem lives, because every part of the business affects every other part.

So the fixes get picked by whatever is loudest. A new CRM. Another agency. A new hire. A weekend of rebuilding the website. Each one feels productive. Many of them optimize the wrong part of the business.

More revenue can even make it worse. Volume puts pressure on every weak process you have, and the problems you could manage at a smaller size start breaking in public.

The answer isn't more effort. It's diagnosing before prescribing.

  • More leads don't fix broken follow-up.
  • A new CRM doesn't fix a bad sales process.
  • Automation doesn't fix a broken process. It speeds it up.
  • Working harder doesn't fix poor positioning.
  • More revenue can make operational problems worse.

The difference

This isn't another business quiz.

Free Business Growth Diagnostic

An automated, directional look at your business based on your answers. It helps you spot where growth may be getting stuck and which areas are worth looking at first. It’s a useful starting point, but it can’t see the full picture, review your actual numbers and evidence, or understand the context behind what’s happening.

Paid Business Growth Assessment

I take a real look at your business from top to bottom. I figure out what’s working, what isn’t, where you’re losing opportunities, and what’s actually getting in the way of growth. Then I give you a clear plan for what to fix, what to prioritize, and what to do next.

What you're paying for is analysis, judgment, pattern recognition, prioritization and a plan you can actually use.

Fit

Who this is for

An established, owner-led business

You've been operating long enough to have real customers, real revenue and real patterns to learn from.

Growth is inconsistent or stalled

Some months are strong, others aren't, and you can't say with confidence why.

You are too involved in everything

Decisions, sales, delivery and fires all route back to you, and that's starting to cap the business.

Leads exist but don't reliably become revenue

Inquiries come in. Too many of them go cold, stall or disappear.

Marketing is happening, results are unclear

You're spending time or money on marketing and can't clearly tell what's working.

Growth is exposing cracks

Team, process and capacity problems show up more as volume increases.

Too many possible fixes

You've got a list of things that might help and no clear way to decide what deserves attention first.

Probably not for you if you are

  • Idea-stage or pre-revenue startups looking for a business plan
  • Anyone looking for one magic tactic
  • Owners unwilling to share real information and evidence
  • Anyone who only wants cheap execution without diagnosis

Scope

What I actually look at

Eight lenses, evaluated as one connected system rather than eight independent checkboxes. A sales problem is often a positioning problem. A marketing problem is often a follow-up problem. The value is in seeing how they connect.

01

Offer & Positioning

  • Whether the right buyer clearly understands what you sell and why it matters
  • How you're priced and packaged relative to the value delivered
  • Whether you're competing on price because the offer isn't differentiated
02

Acquisition

  • Where customers actually come from, not where you assume they come from
  • Dependence on one channel, one referral source or one person
  • Whether marketing spend is tied to any measurable outcome
03

Lead Handling & Follow-Up

  • Response time and who owns a new lead
  • Whether follow-up is a process or depends on memory
  • Where inquiries go cold before anyone has a real conversation
04

Sales & Conversion

  • How prospects move from first conversation to decision
  • Close rates by source or stage, when they can be known
  • Recurring objections and where deals quietly stall
05

Customer Value & Retention

  • Repeat business, renewals and referrals
  • Obvious add-ons or next steps customers are never offered
  • Past customers who could be reactivated
06

Operations & Execution

  • Work that only happens when the owner does it
  • Recurring breakdowns in delivery, handoffs or quality
  • What would break first if volume doubled
07

Technology & Automation

Only where relevant

  • Manual, repetitive work that burns team time
  • Tools that don't talk to each other
  • Whether a tool is solving a real process problem or hiding one
08

Numbers & Measurement

  • Which numbers you trust and which you guess at
  • Whether leads, sales and revenue can be connected
  • Whether anyone reviews performance on a regular rhythm

Process

What happens

  1. 1

    Structured intake and evidence

You complete a detailed intake about how the business works today and share whatever evidence you have: sales summaries, pipeline reports, pricing, marketing reports, process documents. Messy is fine. Honest is required.

  2. 2

    60-minute owner discovery session

We go through your intake together. I ask the follow-up questions a form can't, push on assumptions and get to the parts of the business that don't show up in documents.

  3. 3

    I analyze the business

I personally work through the evidence and the conversation. I look for where the business is actually breaking down, how issues in one area are causing problems in another, and what should be addressed first.

  4. 4

Your Assessment and Strategic Action Plan is prepared

A professionally prepared Business Growth Assessment & Strategic Action Plan written for your business, not assembled from a template.

  5. 5

    60-minute findings and strategy session

We walk through the findings, the priorities and the sequence together. You leave knowing what to do, in what order and why.

Target turnaround: 5 business days after your required intake, evidence and discovery session are complete.

Investment

A complete founder-led Assessment, not a stripped-down package

Standard Investment

$1,500

Founding Client Rate

$997

Limited to the first 5 paid Assessment clients.

I'm opening the first five paid engagements at $997 while I validate and tighten the delivery process.

Founding clients receive the complete Business Growth Assessment & Strategic Action Plan: detailed intake and evidence review, my pre-analysis, both 60-minute sessions, the full written plan and the same target turnaround. This is a validation cohort, not a reduced version of the work.

After the first 5 paid founding clients, the public investment returns to the standard $1,500. Applying doesn't reserve a founding-client place. A place is counted only after the engagement is accepted and paid.

You own the plan. There's no requirement to hire me for implementation.

Independence

What makes it different

Technology agnostic

I don't start from a tool. If software's part of the answer, it's because the process calls for it.

CRM agnostic

Whatever you use today, or nothing at all, is fine. The question is how the process works.

No software quota

Nothing's being sold through the back door. There's no product I need you to buy.

No predetermined solution

The conclusion comes from your business and your evidence, not from a favorite framework.

Marketing isn't assumed to be the answer

Often the problem is what happens after the lead arrives. More leads into a leaky process just leak faster.

No implementation requirement

You're not required to hire me or anyone else to act on the plan.

The answer may be to stop something

Some of the highest-value recommendations are about removing work, spend or complexity.

You own the plan

Execute it yourself, with your team or with whoever you choose.

Boundaries

What it doesn't include

The Assessment is diagnosis and a prioritized plan. It's not implementation. That separation is deliberate: the plan should be driven by what the business needs, not by what someone wants to sell you next.

  • Website rebuilds
  • Ad management
  • CRM configuration
  • Automation builds
  • Marketing campaigns
  • Employee management
  • Ongoing consulting
  • Software development
  • Done-for-you implementation

Any of these can be scoped separately, only if it's appropriate. The Assessment stands on its own either way.

The outcome

What you leave knowing

I don't promise revenue numbers. What I can promise is clarity about where to put your effort.

  • Where I would focus first, and why
  • What can safely wait
  • What may be wasting time or money
  • What still needs to be validated
  • Which metrics actually matter
  • What sequence reduces random execution
  • What the next 30, 60 and 90 days should focus on

If you took the diagnostic

What if the diagnostic says something different?

The free diagnostic isn't required, and it doesn't determine what the Assessment concludes. It's a starting signal based on your own answers, not the answer.

Sometimes the Assessment confirms what the diagnostic pointed to. Sometimes the evidence shows the real issue is somewhere else entirely. That's exactly why the Assessment exists.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take?

The target turnaround is 5 business days after your required intake, evidence and discovery session are complete. Complex or incomplete situations may need an agreed adjustment, and I'll tell you if that's the case.

Do I need to complete the free diagnostic first?

No. It's a useful starting signal and takes a few minutes, but it isn't required and it doesn't determine what the Assessment concludes.

What information will I need?

How the business works today: offer, customers, how leads arrive and are handled, how sales happen, how delivery runs and what numbers you track. Supporting documents help but aren't all required.

What if my numbers are messy?

That's common, and it's useful information in itself. Share what you have. Anything that can't be confirmed is listed as needing validation rather than guessed at.

Is this consulting?

Yes. It's a focused, founder-led diagnostic consulting engagement with a defined scope and a written deliverable. It's not ongoing consulting.

Does implementation come with it?

No. The Assessment is diagnosis and a prioritized plan. Implementation can be scoped separately if that makes sense, but it's never required.

Is this only for businesses using a specific CRM or software?

No. The Assessment is technology and CRM agnostic.

What does it cost?

The standard investment is $1,500. I'm opening the first five paid Assessment engagements at a Founding Client Rate of $997 while I validate and tighten the delivery process. Founding clients receive the complete Assessment and Strategic Action Plan, not a reduced version. The founding rate is available only while those five paid client spots remain.

What happens after I apply?

I review your intake. If it looks like a fit, I'll follow up to confirm the engagement and next steps before scheduling the discovery session. Applying doesn't commit you to anything, reserve a founding-client spot or count as a purchase.

What if you determine we aren't a fit?

I'll tell you directly, and where I can, point you toward what would likely help more. There's no cost for applying.

Stop guessing at the problem.

Find out where the business is actually breaking down, what to fix first and what can wait. The standard investment is $1,500. The first 5 paid Assessment clients receive the complete engagement at the $997 Founding Client Rate while spots remain.

Applying commits you to nothing and doesn't reserve a founding-client place. A place is counted only after acceptance and payment.
